Tamara Palamakumbura (CEO)

Tamara's experience in development dates back to 2007 when she spent 1.5 years in Cameroon. She worked with 2 local NGOs; primarily as the development manager. In this capacity she ran a local NGO, assisting them to put in place the required procedures and governance structures. During her time the organisation was successfully running a school and internet cafe.

Furthermore, she implemented a computer literacy programme impacting 40 schools across 7 villages. The programme was delivered by local staff and involved a collaboration of a national NGO, a local NGO and a foreign funder.

Since then she has continued her work through SfD; by continuing to encourage, support and develop activities in Cameroon

Parshav Garq (COO)

Parshav is a professional project manager whose extensive experience provides SfD with project management and project implementation skills

Kamal Shah (Board Member)

Kamal is a management consultant by profession with a M Phil in Finance and a specialisation in Development Economics. He has worked extensively in Africa and on projects sponsored by various aid agencies including ones affiliated to the development organisations of western nations. He has been an active member of charitable organisations in the region including Round Table and Rotary. His professional skills and education gives him the right skills and knowledge to be able to objectively and independently review results of programmes executed by SFD's management.
